Came with 18" alloys with road tyres fitted, but also what I believed to be the original 16" alloys with a very nice set of aggressive tyres on, so I swapped them. The MOT man thinks the nuts are the wrong ones as very little of the washer makes contact with the wheel?
Bought a set from a R reg P38 three is right but the sticky out bit wont fit in the alloy?
Can some one tell me the differences please?

Side by side comparison to the 3 that fit, in particular condition of threads.

Could also bolt them into the hub without the wheel on and see how they line up. I had one go weird once changed for new one is fine
Bags of them on eBay for pennies.

The others wheels in the pic above are l322 and should also have hub reducers (thin alloy or plastic rings that fit in the middle of the wheels) if on a p38

Yes I have them, It came with the L322 wheels on, but with ate P38 wheels in the boot with a brand new set of aggressive tyres on for an extra £200 so a No brainer 6 months on I fitted the P38 wheels using the L322 nuts, mot man pointed it out, going to try and look again today

Spigot rings.;):D
Thats them, well jus been out and tried the new well used bolts in my spare, it looks like I have bought the correct ones but my wrong bolts have caused a slight burr on the edge of the hole stopping them going in, I will take each one off and clean them up well I am hoping winchboy will do it for me!
Times like now I wish I had bought an impact gun!

Thanks I thought about it long and hard but keeping as is, a woman at a car show convinced me as its a very early one. The Bonnet edge is now starting to go like the roof.
We only use it for best its like driving an asthmatic snail, but once down the country lanes its great, shifted a mates horse box a few times too, they are a bargain if you can keep them going, best not mention its on springs

If you have coils then you have an eye for reliability so we know it’s a diesel ;)

They get sluggish over time especially if autobox goes mushy. Mine was in beginning, nothing in particular just little bit of everything. Spruce up and it can shift for something that size with little engine and pull too

Smart. Early indicators suit it well. See the roof paint has gone same as mine.

Now I might be dreaming but if feels better now I have fixed ( with a Paperclip) the Gearbox high temp sensor?
Whats a Mushy box???
I paid £1000 two years ago as I like owning a 4x4 for the winter and was missing my old Discovery, winchwoman loves it, which is unusual as I usually drive a pile of ****e

Have you checked the gearbox oil condition/colour. It could need a change if the box is reluctant. The diesels aren't particularly fast, this is why there are boxes and remaps to boot them up a touch. They are nice place to be and te slower it is the longer your in it:D
