Hi All,

I'm about to start the task of replacing the rocker cover gaskets on my 98 4.6 Gems and had a couple of queries.

1. Is there a gasket for the plenum Chamber? I'm search for one and can't find anything, Rave states Apply thin coating of Loctite 577 sealant to mating surfaces.

2. As I'm going into the engine this far is it worth going further and replacing the head gaskets? I have no known problems with them but just wondering if its worth doing anyway? Car has done 83k.

Cheers in advance
Al

Silicone sealant is all I use, sparingly

Don't take your heads off unless you have a problem.
If you shear an exhaust manifold bolt, or mess up putting them back on you will be gutted
