P38 2.5D Rear Waher pipe

I have finally replaced my upper tailgate and carefully attached a string to enable re-running the washer on the new tailgate pipe .
I splashed out and bought a new non-return valve. Now I can't find the bottom end of the pipe in the access compartment.
I assumed that it should be downwards in the access compt but no sign in either direction just groping around.....any hints ?

can you get a torch in there? Not much room I suspect? Not much help. Sorry...

Found it ! It's upside in the access compartment.
Now have a working rear washer for the first time in 6 years.
