Out twice. Broke down twice.

Popped to the pound shop day before yesterday after my leg lay up. Once bejewelled with Abduls finest offerings the heap wouldn’t start.
Out of diesel

Back into said shop for a can and a walk to ASDA I bled the sodding thing and back on my way.

Today I went on a run to blow away its cobwebs and low and behold, after a brew at my brothers, it had air in the system again.

Not sure if I tightened the bleed valve up properly

So do tell how big was Abdul’s said can?
Then you went straight home without filling the tank before taking it for a blast (very loose term).

You deserve all the pain the nurse gives you when you tell her that.

Out of fuel doesn't count as brake down. Only one person to blame for that.

Aye Bobdool the silly auld fool

I had fired it up a few times over my cast time. The last being a few days prior to the trip to Abduls. On that occasion it ticked over for half an hour and showed a quarter of a tank so I didn’t even consider it would be low on t’fuel.
I blame the excitement of Honest Abduls Pound Emporium as normally it’s the first thing I check on any trip.
Anyone want to buy a five litre plastic fuel can.

You know what they say. "If you want to make a trip to Abdul's, drive a Land Rover. If you make it back home again, drive a Land Cruiser."

I already have several. They’re just too smelly to keep in the back.

I have the perfect remedy to my landy breaking down...... its still in pieces over 2 houses.
