Something like:
"Hello,

Interesting vehicle.

I was wondering what part of this Landy is a '92 110, just the log-book? Have the DVLA been notified of the changes?

I dare you to post your answer on the description!

Best(ish) wishes,

Dominic"

Had a reply..

"What you trying to say. There is a lot of the 200 left as the td5 and 200 Tdi have a hell of a lot of part interchangeable if you know your land rovers you will know that. The log has 2495 td5 engine on it. and the 200 Tdi is a 2495 if you change the cc you have to declare or the fuel but I declared to be legal. Cheers"

Thinking along the lines of this as a response...
"I'm just wondering how legit this really is. You say that the chassis, all the running gear, brakes, engine, dash and bulkhead, wings and front end, the doors and all inside, seat base and floor tub etc. Wtf is left from the original '92? Yeah, parts are easily interchangeable which is why so many get nicked!"

looks **** in that colour

and yepp is defo a ringer ask for the plate to get a HPI then report it to DVLA.

Enough people report coil sprung series landies whys this any different?

finally i hate people that call 4x4's monster trucks is very obviously not

You could also point out that, yes, you do know your Land Rover's - and the law, which states that the ID needs to stay with the chassis - so - if it is a TD5 chassis it needs to have a TD5 number plate.

Also ask if he guarantees his first statement about it being able to go anywhere? :p

That 110 is hotter than a Priest with a virgin alter boy

"The Unbeatable Beast" :bounce:

Hmmm, I was thinking more along the lines of:

"The very dodgy Land Rover ruined by poor taste"

or

"An hommage to 1970's shower curtains"

i all fairness if the guy deals in stolen cars/parts, it explains the paint job, nobody is going to nick that.

can you imagine the call to the police if they did,

Someone has stolen my defender.

what colour is it?

erm.... well....

the fact noone has put a bid on it your getting a half decent landy with a lot of extras not keen on the paint job but b&q and some brushes would do the job ;)

What the fcuk has he done to that!!

Think it's the doggiest looking one IV seen for ages.

IV mailed him to ask if its all registered with the DVLA and what plates are on it. As it should be on Q plates now its been built from multiple vehicles. And if he has all the receipts for legitimate parts.

When I get a replay ill try and get the reg out of him for an hpi check.. Doubt he will give that out though!
