oils and lubricants

hope someone here can advise me. I have recently bought a 1984 110 petrol landrover station wagon. At the weekend I intend to replace all the various oils etc. I wonder if anyone can sugest which oils to replace and what types of oils to use. I intend to get a grease gun and do all the nipples as well as the gearbox, transfer box, diffs, engine etc etc.
Any advice would be most gratefully received.

You have still not said what engine you have .

Gear box = dexron 2/power steering fluid/red stuff
Transfer box and diffs = ep90

hi bellautos i was wondering if you have the data sheets for the oil/lub ect.. for my disco and my 90{ sorry the wifes 90 she watching} both 200tdi j reg 92 90 and lreg 94 disco and would you know if i need to put a better grade oil in than standard spec in my disco because of the engine mods i have had done

As for the oil i still only recomend you put the facorty recomended oils in , If you have modded your engine like most of us then just change it more ferquently.

I use a SHPD oil long drain oil in mine from falcon lubricants and i change it every 4 or 5 thousand miles

That will be the pic on the left then for the 2.3 which it is listed as in autodata

sorry but the pic on the left and right on mine are for a 2.5 D not a 2.3 petrol.

are you looking at the wrong set of attachments ?? the top set were for you the lower set were for someone else
