Hiya
can anyone help ! have changed oil in my 01 petrol 1.8 gaylander, have flushed rad and replaced coolant, the engine sounds good, no leaks, in oil or coolant, doesnt overheat temp guage is steady. BUT the oil warning light keeps coming on not straightaway and sometimes it flickers on and off, could this be the oil pressure warning light switch or could it be the oil tempreture sensor? or do i just replace both just incase !!

yes i know !! BURN IT :p

you might have just over filled it with oil. my vito van does the same oil warning sensors are a bit to sensitive. check your dipstick

no i changed the oil because there was too much oil in it !! that was what i thought it was, but its still doing it just checked dipstick again and oil level is perfect, its not all the time and doesnt do it until the engine reaches normal operating temp, its driving me mad !!! x
