Freelander 1 Oil pump replacement 1.8

Hi
I am replacing the oil pump on a friends 1.8 Freelander (2000 model). I have had a look ar rave and it states one of the bils should be a m6x20. When I reomved the existing pump all the bolts were the same. Looks like the previous owner did a bodge job on it as the gasket is covered in orange sealant.
Should I be concerned that one all the bolts were the same and there was not the m6x20 bolt?
Do I need to fill the new pump with oil to prime it?
Anything I need to be aware of that rave doesn't cover

Here's the location of the 20mm bolt (marked A) Use new bolts and gasket and make sure all silicone is removed. Priming shouldn't be necessary. If you want to pre-fill the filter, then do so. I'd crank the engine by applying 12 volts to the starter solenoid before starting the engine.

Thanks, didn't think of cranking the engine over a couple of times to get the oil into the pump.

New bolts now ordered

Personally I always put some oil in any pump, don't like them turning dry, even if it's a couple of revolutions.

+1- prime pump with clean engine oil, and prime new oil filter too. Then turn motor over on starter with coil lead removed to prime system.
