oil leak around the injector of my tdi 300

Once we've tested it, it was losing compression inside the GP bore, so they only solution we had is to replace the whole head or put some sticky 2 finger material with the glow plug to see if it loses compression , once the material dried we've tested it again on 4psi and it was Ok. But that didn't work out on the actual engine compression. So now i have to look for a 2nd hand head and see how it goes

Looking at your location do you even need a glow-plug really? Could you not just drill it out a bit and tap it and put in a bolt to cap it or something? Is there an oil gallery breached down the GP bore that is leaking then? I get the impression something could be done here to save what you have. I am in the UK and don't even use my GP's most of the winter anyway so I am sure you would cope with 1 missing.

Another note, the engine use to press air even when the car is cold. I have noticed that form opening the water cap once starting the engine , and it uses to blow out water with air

Was that before you changed the HG - sounds like gas being driven into the water galleries then being forced out the water tank - had this about 6 years ago on my own 300tdi.

Yup jordan is cold country during the winter . But even though no one here can do such thing to the head. Since its aluminium so it needs special welding to do such thing. And also the place is hard to reach its deep inside.

Yes i had the same problem before changing the HG , and we thought it was the burn on it but it was the head

How cold in the winter? My thinking is unless it's much lower than -5°C you should be fine. My 300tdi started a treat last week at -9°C with no glows and it had not been run for 2 weeks.

-6 ,-10 coldest it could get

Positively roasting! Yeah cold enough but not bad really. I would be tempted in your situation to have the head fixed, head off, weld it up on the side of the GP bore, then weld up the outside or tap and screw a bolt in with sealant. Just need to be sure it is done well so that if there is an oil gallery breach it doesn't pump oil into the cylinder via the GP hole. I know it's a little bodge like but if done well I think you would be fine starting with only 3 GP's.

The idea of putting the GB inside the bore with a sealant around it is to forget about this GB and use it as screw to fill up the bore with the sealant . But unfortunately it didn't work out, the pressure of the engine is really high. Maybe if we used an actual screw as you said it would have worked since it would definitely close the hole specially if we sealed around it!
But don't know if I should give that a try before changing the whole head ! I think I'll give it a try tomorrow and I will let you know if it works out

hello everyone ,
to keep you guys posted of the issue,
i have opened the head and found this ;

so basically the only solution we had is to change the whole head since the break is inside the glow plug area and could be even deeper
