So had a leak from from oil cooler on a Disco 2 TD5.
Stripped everything down and took off the oil cooler. It looks like the old gasket has completely disappeared.
Have one ordered 6 quid online. Part number ERR7220
Note the orange color inside the cooling system from just using water as coolant for the past year.
Gonna hit the old gasket with a bit of wet and dry 300 grade sand paper before installing the new one.
As access was so good decided to take off the water pump aswell and replace as im hitting 150k. Took all of about 2 mins as the 5 nuts were fully accessible.
If anybody needs advice on how to to the same let me know.
