Oil Breather

Gonna sound like a daft question but where do I find the oil breather filter on my TD4. I found the little filter for the turbo breather but can't locate the other one

Is it like a small blue toilet roll ? Crankcase breather under air filter cover

That's the one, so I find it in the air filter housing?

No not inside, but just infront. Behind the injectors. May have to pull off a injector fuel return to get the filter housing off. I cannot remember if the air filter housing has to come off to get at it. You should be able to tell by taking off the top engine cover (3 bolts)
If you don't have to take the air housing off then don't - it's a pig to get back on.

Engine cover off , air filter cover off , You do need to remove clip & unplug one of the diesel leak off pipes , I fitted the BMW part so will not need to do it again .
I did not find the air filter cover hard to fit back on

OK thanks, I will fit the conversion kit can someone point me to where I can get one on line as I don't have a local BMW dealer
