Oh ring !!!!!

Hi.
I need to get the o rings that are on the pipes that go into the heater matrix on a 300 tdi discovery but I can't find them any were. I've tryed Paddocks Craddocks and eBay. Maybe I'm just not serching for the right thing but they don't seem to be listed. Any ideas ? Even the part number fir them would be helpful as I don't have it.

Can you not just take the o-rings into your local motor factors and match them up. Normaly they have o-ring kits of all different sizes,just compare the sizes and find the one that fits. Should cost about 10p

I could but I'm up in Scotland and the local motor factors are 35 miles away and once I've got the o rings out the discovery will not be driveable. The joys !!!

there is a full et of O rings available on ebay......check the link. I have bought a set of these and they come in very handy.

Yes I had seen these. Seems the best option so far.

The O-Rings aren't shown on the Microcat parts catalogue so you may find it very hard to find them.May be best to buy what WolfyDave has posted and hope they have the same size in there as you need.

It's got to be worth a 6 quid bet on eBay !!!

I had one of those kits and it did the same job. Can't remember the size though.
For the price, I would recommend it for keeping in the tool kit.
