So with MOT Tim looming, plus I want to have this working right I need to fix my ABS.

I've done the blink test and have sorted most of the issues out but I am now stuck with one fault. 4 12

First numpty question. Is RH near side or off side?

Second should there be continuity across the terminals of the sensor?

Third if checking the loom end of the sensor plug should there be continuity there, if not how the hell to I find where it terminates. I'm assuming it at the ABS ecu?

RH is right hand side as you sit in the car(that near side /off side thing has always confused me )

the best way to ckeck the sensor is to unplug it and measure it's resistance... you should find between 950-1100 ohm in it's plug and the same on it's input in the ECU plug when the sensor is connected, the smallest plug in the ABS ECU, you have the pin disposals attached as you watch inside the plug, unplug it and measure there

In true fashion for a Landy, my ABS light has behaved for the last week and on its way for is MOT it came back on again.

F***er

So I now have fault code 3-8

Not sure what happened to the bottom line of my post.

I know what that the code says on the table but how do I go about fault finding it now and fixing it.

The ECU connection or wiring to inlet, isolating, hydraulic modulator solenoid valve.

Hi

Please find attached the manufacture's Wabco, maintenance manual for the ABS system used in Disco 1. It is a pdf and I have used it to diagnose faults with my Disco 1.
