could the nudge bar/a bar from a 2004 face lift model fit a 2002 model?

i can find 2004 onwards for very little money but i cant seem to find the ones that were fitted to earlier models

by the way im on about the plastic/pre painted not the chrome type
 
At a guess I'd say no. The facelift nudge bars are specifiaclly shaped to fit over the grill section of the bumber. Even if you did I reckon it would look naff as feck, but that's JMO.
 
Just had a look on ebay, if you search "Freelander Nudge Bar" you'll get quite a few of the metal bars up for auction or sale.
 
I've just swapped the grey nudge bar for a black one on my 2005 TD4. It was only on for a few years and started to look tatty and sh*t.
Pretty certain you couldn't fit one to a non facelift and TBH if I hadn't drilled the front bumper to fit wouldn't bother fitting a new one. Got the black one for £30 brand new from eBay - looks good for now.

Yep once you've fitted it that's it for the bumber, no going back. I've got a black one too I reckon it looks nice with the light guards.

i quite like the plastic ones, plus the metal bars are a bit on the expensive side:rolleyes:

im trying to get a cheap set of roof rails aswell

hoping to pick up a set of triple sport 17"s at the end of the month for £75

nice idea, but cost is a big thing for me, and i like the look of it as it is, there are just a couple of things i would like to add, to make it "my own"
im fortunate it already has the colour coded body kit...i spent 3mth looking for a good one

Ahhh they do look good with the coloured bumpers!

When I bought my nudge bar it was for my model (2000) but the instructions wer for the facelift model I think it would be the same bar just different fittings that bolt to the bumper reinforcer I'll try and find the thread for my nudge bar now
