ok then the saga continues
after replacing everything to do with fuel including pipes (by-passing sedimenter i have put a glass boat water seperator in the engine bay to replace this) i have made some progress.
now it starts with a little bit of effort pulling the fuel through, idles as long as you let it, i can now drive it around for a bit i couldnt even get it off the drive before or i can sit and rev the beans out of it but if i rev too hard for too long engine check light comes on and it splutters with white diesel smelling smoke but instead of cutting out i just relax bring the revs back down and all goes back to normal its the same when driving s bit of load going up a long hill and the same happens.
so i dont think its the ecu or 4th injector i dont know what it is everything is fastened up tight so i can only thing pump timing but is this not done electronic as it is the 300tdi auto edc or can you tweek it manually or is it something to do with valves or up that end
anyway there it is so any ideas appreciated cheers
