that's the other end of the country it was to far for me and I'm only in Linc's :lol:

I've driven to Wiltshire before for important stuff........like silly engines but a ratty old series isn't worth it

I can beat that, flown and driven out to Germany twice for motors I hadn't seen [split screen campers] and sent £6000 out to the states for another that I didn't get to see for 16 weeks :lol:

Middle one worth the most

Top sold for £5k

Middle for £11k

Bottom £9k

This was a few years ago now so you could easily add another £3k to the bottom two, the top one would now be worth a lot less.

Sold this one a couple of years ago for £14k to fund home improvements money all gone now

I'll stick to my Series one LR's are more fun to me

With respect to the OP it looks as if that 'scrap' series III has a capstan winch on it... I've always fancied one of those.
