Having had a reliable 1999 dse for 11 months i had a non start problem where the engine will crank and not fire.
If you do not have the ywy500170 receiver fitted go outside now and pull the blue wire to stop you having the problems i had.
Thanks to this forum dougdotcom came down and sorted the scrambled becm ems signals.
Do not let the rac or any other garages near your car with easy start or tell you it is the in tank pump or vp37 fip are faulty.
first thing get the codes checked by someone on here before you pay any more money out.
i highly recommend dougdotcom to sort your becm problems and thanks to him i am now in york on holiday.
