Non-craptastic aftermarket tappets?

Hi guys,

Thinking I might replace my noisy tappets when I do my head gasket this week. LR wanted the GDP of Botswana for a set so bugger that. Anyone have any experience with some reliable AM ones that won't discomblooterate my engine? Otherwise I'll just treat the oil and change it every month for a while and hope they STFU.

That wasnt my issue though. The gudgeon pin had come loose inside the piston, and gouged out 2 nice big grooves from the cylinder walls...

Youch!! Were they any good? How many miles have you done with em ?
