after a long journey, knowing the engine is warm enough to have warm air coming through the vents. there doesnt seem to be any? what could this be? all 4 air flow speed settings work, but no hot air.

could this be head gasket? although no signs whatsoever.

any thoughts?

You could have a plug heater core. How many miles and when was last time you flushed your radiator system and put a new rad cap on? And a 50%/50% collant mix?

hi need more info, have you checked the water level ,does it need topping up.if the water level drops below the heater matrix it will blow cold air .if so ,you have a leak somewhere .check for leaks.undo the water resevour look for any bubbles or water rising that will tell you if your head gasket has blown.is there any steam comming out of the exhaust, does the dip stick read higher than normal.hope this helps, you will always get idiots reading this and not willing to help.

as i was saying, i cant see any signs of head gasket, the water coolant mix looks a bit old, do you think i should change it?, its done 145k miles. could it be pollen filter also?

The book say's every 36 months or 36k miles which ever comes first change collant, and that also means flush the system. get the Haynes manual only 20 quid will save you lots of money. Just follow the directions.
