Hey all, new here and to Land Rover owning! Got myself a 300Tdi disco about a month ago. Just wanted to come say hi and see if theres anyone local thats been green laning or has been having fun off road? The discos standard at the mo, is there anything i need to do before i start playing in the brown stuff?

Welcome chap. Based in Warwickshire, meander over your way occasionally, have fun and get the car and yourself ready b4 you do to much. Suggest you go with a mate or go and watch local pay and play day tosee what it is about...and importantly what not to do

Been to watch a few pay and play days locally, going to take mine out on one soon and juse do some gentle stuff to start off with. I have a mate who also has a discovery so we are going to start going out together... going to join a local club as well hopefully!

Make sure you dont bugger your car, like I did. Regular oil checks, in all areas, wadding kit if splashing around and take it easy on the pedal. In addition, when you get stuck and cant get out after couple of attempts, accept a tow, it saves knackering the car. My view and experience
