Check your spare, if it's got about the same tread depth as the others, just use the spare and stick the new on the spare.
It's not ideal, buteo get you out the **** in an emergency. I'm replacing all 4 of my drive wheels, and leaving the spare the way it is, for now.

new one and best other on the back = no problem.

run a tape measure around the circumference to check which are largest if you have different makes.

Just put a set of Kuhmo Tyres all round new - £80 each Inc vat and balancing and new valves and fitting and disposal of old Tyres - I thought a good deal.
Ok not off road but mine isn't used for that - the grip superbly and are quiet on the motorway.

So how much each Inc everything? Sounds cheap - not thee best looking Tyres on Freelander but seem to work well - I always liked the Pirelli Skorpions but they have got pricey.

I have just had fitted a set of 5 falken all terrains. Only 50 quid each from camskill. So far so good. road noise not to bad and grip on green lanes really good.

For those quoting prices of tyres fitted, can you also post the size you have, this is a massive price changer!
For instance, the cheapest I could find my 225/55/17s is £316 for 4 all in!

Mine are standard Freelander size!
:)
£55 for a Khumo including balance and new valve.
£1 to take your old tyre back.
