New onwer near Wakefield

Morning all!

I bought my first Land Rover, a '94 V8 Disco a couple of weeks ago, and I have been on here nearly every day since.

Seems only right that I join up and try and contribute!

I'm in Ossett, near Wakefield and no doubt will be pestering for advice and parts in the future!

I'll stick a thread in the Disco section for my truck.

Welcome, we're not far from you at all only live in Tingley.
Is your V8 LPG ? if so best price gas around here is either Smithies on Huddersfield road, Birstall or Jacobs lane in Wakey(66.9).
lol if not be prepared they're a bit thirsty

and you'll get use to free wheeling down hills

Most guys on here really gr8,helpful and eccentric but some are really anal trolls just pick n choose best advice.

Mike, unfortunately not lpg. Just a thirsty bugger!

Last time I had one of these engines (in a Hilux pickup) the previous owner had it on lpg and managed to cook it. It put me off buying a converted one.
