Hi Everyone.
Thought I should register as I may be able to help others now I'm getting to grips with my 2003 td4 Freelander HSE. Had it about 4 months now and put around 4k miles on, went past 100k last month!
Always had company cars but left the firm and wanted something cheap to run over winter. My specification for a car was as follows.. Diesel, black, automatic, 4x4, leather seats, sunroof and less than £4000. The freelander was the only thing out there that ticked all of the boxes and has been great.
These forums have been a really useful resource. I have been lurking about for a while and have done the EGR mod, changed the oil and filters and seen an improvement in MPG as a result.
Got a bit of an odd problem but will post it in the right forum, its to do with the heated seats now not going off with ignition, cant find that on search.
