hi im new to range rovers and i have a few problems dont we all

1) first one is the hevac system is showing the book symbol but the heaters all work and the air is directed as told so i would guess a aircon service and gas is due to start with

2) neither heated seats work not sure where to start the led lights up on the switch so assume the heater pads are gone

3)autobox drops revs when put in drive or reverse but pick back up i assume this is normal (other autos ive had didnt do this)

4) central locking on drivers door wont work but can lock an alarm via key assume new central door actuatator is required

apart from that im loving my new motor only had it since friday and it has been fully valeted and major service next weekend

1/ Could just need the computor to reset the becm unit.

2/ The elements can be expensive to replace as seat has to be removed from car. Time consuming exersize££££.

3/ Possibly ok as mine drops revs when engaging a gear.

4/ Drivers door handle is around £200 as its the main unit for the other doors.
Best of luck Bazz.

If the air flow is correct then its probably lack of gas in the system, the condenser rad is known to hole/leak so check for leaks.

Usually its the seat base element that breaks, they can be repaired.

Which engine do you have Petrol or Diesel most auto's drop engine revs, but electronic management corrects this and picks up the revs to standard.

4) central locking on drivers door wont work but can lock an alarm via key assume new central door actuatator is required

Could be various things from expensive parts to a broken wire, all of the above can be diagnosed with help from here...
