new clutch - low biting point

Hi all,

just fitted new clutch, release bearing and HD fork to my 90, 200tdi, lt77

have bled hydraulic system fully and biting point is right at bottom of pedal travel, or to put it another way there's lots of free travel in clutch pedal befor resistence is felt.

From what i can glean looking at other posts, this is considered "normal" with a new clutch... doesnt feel normal to me!

anyway, i did the clutch two years ago (but didnt fit a HD fork - silly me!), and remember having the same symptom for a couple of days.. then one day was trying to manouver the vehicle over some rough ground and there was a clunking sound from clutch/gearbox area and from that point on clutch returned to normal. Cant for the life of me figure out what happened there!

Anyway... should i be expecting the same thing to happen again... or should i attempt to adjust the master cylinder so it "bites" earlier - if that's even possible?!

Happy to be mobile again, but somewhat worried i've done something wrong in the refit!
