On a forum a few months back I asked the age-old question... do I get the chassis replaced or sell as a going concern? The overwhelming response was get it replaced, or you’ll just end up regretting it!
Somebody recommended Si Sagar at SS 4x4 Performance so we had a chat on the phone the following day - he put any worries and concerns I had completely at rest. Next thing I know it was booked in and I sent him a load of dosh for a Richards chassis and some parts that I knew would need replacing (plus maybe a couple of “essential” upgrades). Simon also advised and recommended some other bits and bobs and before we knew it, we had a plan.
Well a couple of weeks back he came and took my baby away. Last week, he pulled back up with her on the trailer. I’m so completely blown away by the quality of work and how the car now feels and responds. It’s a literal night and day difference.
Simon kept me up-to-date almost daily with what he’s been up to along with loads of progress pics (and never once got annoyed at me bugging him). Every now and then a new invoice would turn up but I paid without hesitation, having complete faith and confidence. If he said something needed replacing, I agreed - no questions asked.
Anybody needing work, upgrades, a performance bump or rebuild - Simon is your man. I’ll not go anywhere else now, sorry Si
Thanks mate, truly appreciate the skill, love and attention to detail you’ve put into bringing ‘Triggers Vroom’ back to life.
Not sure he's even on this forum, but just wanted tp spread there love as I've now got a smile on my face when driving the defender again (I did lose it for a few years)!
