New boots for my Disco 2

I currently run 235/85 R16 BFG All Terrains on my 52 plate Disco 2 - I have a 2" lift. I'm looking at getting a set of 285/75 R16 or 255/85 R16 Mud Terrains. Question is, has anyone fitted these to a Disco 2 with a 2" lift and if so, what extra work needed to be done - wheel arch flares, wheel spacers?

I've done lots of searching and everything refers to the Disco 1...

I didn't need to make any of the mods suggested on Disco Tire Fitting Guide for the 235/85s so I'm wondering if the information is relevant to the Disco 2.

Thats rather on the "big" side, you would need more than a 2" lift and your gears and shafts will be at "risk". The 235/85-16 you have now is the same as a 265/75-16 which is about as big as you can go with a 2" lift and why you required no mods.
