Just to say hello to everybody. I have just bought a 05 freelander sports auto from a local dealer, looks and drives very nice its my first land rover and hopefully not my last. My brother had a first edition disco for many years and swore by it. I'm an older bloke ex-army so I have used 110s and 90s (Defenders) before. I replaced a modded Terrano with this td4 which to be fair was a good old truck and took some right stick but became a bit of a rust bucket and finally the electrics failed but I definitely had my moneys worth out of it I just hope the td4 is as dependable. I have just had to Landy a week now and noticed the cd and fag lighter are not working I've spoke to the dealer who is going to get it in to have a look also I've noticed fuel economy is pretty poor at the moment but I will give it a month or so to see if it improves taking it from Sheffield South Yorkshire to Somerset in a weeks time see if that clears its lungs a bit.
