Hi Guys,
I'm a land rover fan from New Zealand, which is an epic place as the people that have been there will tell you.
i have recently bought a series 2a shorty. it has a nissan SD23 engine, that needs a bit or work smokes like a train.
it is an epic wee beast, will fix the engine and give it a original paint job!!

Welcome. Nice looking original landy. Colour may be original? I'd sort out the wheels back to original steel. Great if you put a half canvas tilt on it.

Welcome. As John S says - that looks nice.

Might be an idea to get a grill in front of your rad, before "something" finds its way in and possibly through it:(

Ask me how I know - well, actually, don't, cos it cost me £300, and I want to forget...........

Or better still, change it for a 2 1/4 petrol! ;)
Welcome to the site :)

that current colour is a rubbish paint job, i think the original colour was light blue, and im also very keen on the canvas, full length or 3/4?
it'd be to hard to change the engine back because i'd have to change the engine mounts back.
i will be getting a grill sometime, its not road legal yet and cant drive it around very much with the engine like it is!
this was the other saturday after we took the roof off
