That is one of the many things I love about l/r owners, they are like mini-owners (the proper mini - not the bmw crap) it doesnt matter what you have, how old it is, how much it is worth, what it looks like - inside we are all kids who love the potential of a l/r...
Tried to add a signature for my vehicles - but didnt seem to work, so...
Disco 1 - Is actually a Series 1 Disco, V8, 105,000 miles, no engine work done, rough as ****, terrafirma wheel-spacers, steels/insa turbos for winter, alloys/bfg's for summer/road use, manual air-con (windows), Lives in Ukraine with my girlfriend. They dont bother with mot's or roads... so its perfect out there. They also get proper snow, yee-haa... Great fun driving it over there from Ripon, two day trip, fortune in petrol, 100 mph through Poland with an Audi and a Skoda, great fun...
Disco 2 - Is a... Series 2 Disco, V8, 60,000 miles, ES, full leather, air, all the bits plus loads of factory fitted extras, I added bumper bar, britax spots, uprated bulbs, Kenwood pop-out screen, bluetooth phone, mic, installed a usb socket in switch blank, modified the 'ashtray' to a three switch unit which has front spots, the usb, roof spots. (no rack or lights yet - w.i.p.) - my only complaint was that it didnt come with a towbar - must be the only bloody landrover bought without one...!!! anyway this saturday, that gets done.
