hi
i have be having some problems with the power of my front spots, they light up but are very dim, its like having just side lights on , i have wired them up to the battery with a switch in and a fuse 30amp, is the 30 amp to low ? or do i need to put some sort of power converter in ??? if anyone can help ?
thanks

do what MHM said.

what wattage are the lights?

30 amp probably large for 2 lights, I've got 4 55W on a 25A fuse & 30A relay.

use a relay or the switch will burn out.

Bright lights need shortest runs of thickish cable so you're better off with a relay wired straight from the battery (via a 20A or so fuse) to the lights using at least 5A cable to the lights and 10A cable to the relay (twice this rating would be better) and making sure the earths are really good - add extra earthing cable if necessary. You have fitted 12v bulbs, not 24v haven't you?
