My First Series

Woo Hoo Geting my first series a 1972 light weight so now the fun starts she is gonna be a rolling restoration as the old girl need a bit of tlc dont worry guys i am not new to this just new to series landy`s am one of the discovery boys ye i know but i like them great work horse`s I have wanted a light weight for a long time just could not find one at right price then this one came up only thing was it was on the isle of lewis off the scottish west coast lucky the guy was coming south to pick up his new toy so worked a deal & will meet him tomorrow 9/11/12 & get my new toy . Will post photos soon . I hope to do a photo by photo restoration so mite post that to gonna see if landrover mag would be intrested in it to may be just a :rolly:but you never know

Well guys lightweight is geting worked on front bumper has been fixed & painted new rad fitted rear inner tub has been painted the f##king white 8 spokes are now black so look better new door bottoms on order as nothing left to weld on old ones got three bits of welding to do on chassis then its going for mot had a nice letter from DVLA saying i can have it on year number plate 1972 not the 1981 its on so thats good news . Still CANT get photos to upload been told landyzone is have`n problems with this so hope to get photos up for u all soon :nopics:
