Ash Witty's 110 is an absolute brute

defo helped me to appreciate big displacement diesel!

although tbh i think big displacement anything is win, diesel was just a nice change of scenery!

It was in the lakes a few weeks back, missed it on the roads as I was working but saw the pics after! Looked proper mean and very at home on parkamoor :D

Big displacement has a place still, may not be economical and may not produce the same power as new modern low displacement high boost engines but they have presence :D

Thanks Mr Noisy. Id like to take it to billing but ive only driven it to the MOT place since its been roadworthy so Im very nervous about taking it that far....

Wow,
I've just read the whole thread right through, I wish I had you guys skills not to mention the tools/space/time or money!
It's an amazing job you re doing.
I'm quiet new to all this- I've had a 98 disco 3.9 V8 ES auto for a few months as my intro to Land Rover and your thread blows my mind !

Wow absolutely awesome chap, couldn't pick a single fault. Regards the arches I think they will look spot on if the bumpers are black to continue it round, and any others bits of black trim etc goes back on
Well done fella

Thanks Vizsla. Bumper and trims are Galv'd so they will be staying as they are. Its function over form TBH so once the new wheels are on and theres less of a gap im sure there will be less haters!

No photos yet but the Temporary Snorkel was fitted yesterday. As ive no airbox ive had to put a cone filter on top of the snorkel. May just make a cover for it to protect from water but im not sure what ill do yet. Also secured the rad with new home made brackets. Also changed the axle fluids today and engine oil. Just need to do the 2 boxes.
Still a long list to do for Friday. Not sure if itll make it yet. If it does itll be incomplete but nevermind!

Spent most of the day wandering around shopping. Plenty of money spent and goodies brought. :)

I'll let Dan tell you what he has brought, but let's say the landy will be a little more ready for some serious lanes soon. :)
