My Discos past and present

Started off with a 200tdi and the mods flowed



After that I moved onto a 300tdi Auto was a lovely thing so I never took it off road just the odd green lane.




Then there was a bit of a drought until I came back to the fold and got my V8.



And that brings us on to my latest we call it Peanut.

300tdi manual and my first 3 door

Very nice. I've just got the LR bug and bought my first Disco 2 TD5 last month. Came very close to buying an 05 plate Freelander but common sense prevailed thank god. How do you find the manual? I really miss the automatic on my Merc (maybe because i'm a lazy bas****.

The 300 and V8 were both auto, and out of the two the V8 suited the auto box the best.
The 300 even though it was chipped,de egr'd,fan off and de catted just didn't have the initial pull and felt a bit sluggish low down.
I think the manual suits the TDI better and V8 suits the auto
