the only thing wrong with it that was it needed new wipers, happy days. and the advisories were rusty inner wings ( surprised that was only an advisory), brake pads need replacing and n/s rear bumpstop missing which it isnt. 232000 miles n still goin strong :)

lol thats what i was like today at work, i was like how big is this bill gonna be, then i rang up and he said its a tenner extra for the wipers. i was amazed

Well, the old girl failed the MOT:(

On the plus side, it was minor, I hope!

Fog light warning light not working in instrument panel.

A drip of diesel from front offside, but he did'nt know where from.

I'm hoping instrument panel does'nt turn into a money pit nightmare. I have several lights out and it aint the bulbs, so buried deeper me thinks, which equals expensive.

Fuel leak could be on one of the hoses from the fuel filter. Need to investigate in daylight as my lighter is out of gas:rolleyes:

oo thats a shame.

they sound like easy fixes but like you said it could quite easily lead to a big prob.
well hope you get it sorted tommorow :)

Woohoo Passed on retest, thanks to local friendly LR mechanic.

Dash light just a blown bulb and poor earth.

Fuel leak was from the coiled part of the fuel line to/from the fuel filter that sits under the expansion tank and jently rubs a hole in itself against the inner wing:(.

Apparently LR no longer do the £14 replacement part (ESR3118). It's been replaced with a £200 part (WJP000220).

Few inches of new fuel line and jubilie clips sorted the issue for now:).

Cheers. Yes it a bit wrong. Having searched, you can get a Sh*tpart one for about £20. But not sure I'd want my fuel supply depending on them.

Anyone find a decent make, or a second hand one let me know, although I see no real problem with getting some hose dude to make me a custom set, probably for about £20 anyway.

Anyone know why the originals have the loop half way along?
