We did Happy Valley this morning, but I was glad I left my Freelander back at the B&B. I would have dented it big time without rock & tree sliders. The lifted P38 dented his rock sliders!

I used it all afternoon and it was amazing. No clearance issues on the other lanes.

Strada Florida tomorrow. Should be good.

Just finished Strata Florida. What an amazing road. Took about 2 1/2 hours. My Freelander coped with it very well. Only issue was right at the beginning I damaged the side wall of one if my new tyres under water in a jagged rock I couldn't see. The car coped amazingly well. The river was fairly deep as well almost 800mm at one point!

Here is my Freelander crossing the river:

Sorry it's not great quality.

The top of my front bumper is 840mm above ground level. At one point I was told I dropped down to the top of my bumper. A wee bit more than the standard 400mm wading depth. Luckily it went no further, or I would have been stranded

Car's looking good :)

Some great pics. I followed the video link and thought of how much it looked like here in NZ!

I then flicked through the pics and onto a video of you driving up a dual carriageway ay night. Got me thinking of the Caterham Bypass that I used to drive so often, and thought I'd have to ask you to post a video of it (stay with me here!). I clicked onto the next video and noticed it had a caption and it said "driving up A22 Caterham bypass" - well I'll be jiggered, that was uncanny! But hang on - this is just roads. Then it opened up and there was the Royal Oak center - one of my old haunts at Scarlets, round the Volkswagen building and down the A23 past the spot where my Vitesse broke down, past the spot where someone went into the back of my Escort... lol, rewound to the start, and yeh, thats coming off the A22 up round the back of Purley station! Of course I then went back to the previous vid and of course it was the Caterham bypass! I didn't recognise it after being away for 10 years!

lol, I grew up in Warlingham, my first flat was in Mayfield Road by Sanderstead station and then moved back up the hill before moving over here.
