'obsessive' lol.. not realised but guess your right lol

it wasn't meant to be that much but as you know you get started n think ooh I could do.... or why don't I.... that would look better if I....

and before you know it you are getting colour coded poly bushes n swapping every bolt for high tensile bzp lol...

I really need to take a 'its only a landrover' reality check... will be adding pics of the door cards soon... grey elephant hide as a retro 'homage to landrover' with contrasting yellow trim.... but it does match the yellow paint and grey classic rangey seats... ooops lol

cheers steve

haha, to be honest, if i had a shed/garage i could work in, i would most likely have stripped it back that far too, it makes it much easier to do a proper job of spraying it, working on the chassis etc etc etc. i think for my next project, ill definitely build a shed first :D haha

yeah i'm very lucky in that we have 3 old forklift charging sheds at work... and i'm the boss :)

mine sits in a separate 20ft x 12ft workshop and I've risk assessed the other 3 bay workshop so the lads can bring in their projects... helps keep junior squaddies occupied and saves on me doing weekly paperwork if they have been unoccupied n naughty lol

next door is sat a 67 convertible beetle.. sensible Cpl and something that is apparently a potential 'rad drift car' .... to me it looks like a pile of crap rusting 200 sx Nissan but it keeps em busy lol

cheers steve

Wow this looks brilliant! I love what you have done to it! Have you ever thought of using commercial vehicle paint? It can be a really good paint to use! not only is is suited to vehicles it also offer great protection against rust!

Let me know how you get on.

-Defender110- Your build is great! Thanks for sharing it. Surprisingly, it's very similar to what I'm currently doing to mine - even down to the folding rear bulkhead! I guess great minds think alike ;)

Hows things matty! just spotted your PM about this! good to hear you like the thread and hope to see images of your work soon! it has worked out very well so far, and has been very handy. But due to starting a job 100miles away, i had to put it off the road and buy a car :( I have big plans for it this year though, so watch this space!!
