It's that time again and I've just waited, with baited breath, as Red had her annual inspection.
Think I was less worried when my first child was being delivered. Certainly less when the second arrived.
I allowed myself a wee grin when the smoke test came in at 0.47 /m (EGR blanked and a summer of SVO to thank for that), then she was rolled onto the ramp and my heart stalled.
Well, to cut a painfully long story short, she went straight through, passed with just a couple of advisories, which I'd already spotted and can easily fix myself.
Knew she was a 'good-un' the second I laid eyes on her
