I didn't get a misfuel reset tool with my L405 and looking at them on ebay etc the price seems to vary from about £4 to about £40. They all look the same but some seem to be specifically for the 405 while others are for Sports etc even though they have the same part number. Does anyone know if it's a one fits all or do I need the one specifically for the 405? Which of course is the dearer one.

People do like to sell generic items in eBay for specific cars.. for example when i was looking for a headlight bulb, is see the same item on different listings fits Volvo, Audi, Citroen.. then the next one Fits Peugeot ford and jaguar etc.. all the same part, all the same price but not listed as fitting a land rover when actuality it does, it just confuses people for no reason

I guess that would be because most people do not know what a H7 H4 D2R D2S etc are so they search their car model instead?

Could well be, but why state that a particular item does not fit a particular car, when in fact it does? Surely it's easier to list one item and list everything it fits?

I reckon they may have dumbed it down to suit their customers!
