Michelin reduces civil production to satisfy military....

Odd note from the tire industry....

Seems the military involved around the globe burns their Michelin tires at
a too high rate to leave any for the civil market....
(I guess tire size makes no difference either, they probably shift all
capacity to the most demanded (large truck?) size (the civil market only
needs the smaller ones))

I was at Tirecraft just last week. They tell me they are not available
due to demands placed on them because of military involvement around the
world....

Too bad :-(
