metal detectors

Hi, I'm new to the club and wondered if anybody goes metal detecting,i'm thinking of getting one for about £300.00 ish for a bit of fun but not a toy, but need some advice if anybody wold be kind enough to help me in a choice,thanks david.

Yours is easy to find. I just used a brush and a bucket

I'll be the first to say hello and politely inform you that this should be in the anything goes section.

I'm afraid I know nothing about metal detectors except for I borrowed one once.

I have one but only paid £60 2nd hand. Not found any gold yet.
