I was dyno testing my Synergy Tuning box last wednesday and did a run with both maf compsensation and tuning box sections switched off.

I amusing a Pierburgh maf sensor instead of the expensive and unreliable Bosch one and it does need a mafam to boost its signal. (PB maf £65, Bosch one £200+)

The chart on this page shows just how much the maf signal affects the torque compared to the other charts when the mafam section was switched on.

Proof positive of just how important it is to have a 'good' maf sensor signal.

Max power was 148.5bhp and torque 229lbs ft (111bhp/ 192lbs ft standard.)
