Dear Learn'ed collective,

I'm a bit stumped here. My speedo on my 130 hasn't worked for a while. I've just replaced the cable and installed a new clip on the gear box but i've no drive to the cable at the console end.
I've seen these coloured worm gear parts but i've no idea if they are for an LT77.
What components might i need to insert into the gear box end to get the drive back to the cable ?
Is it a difficult fix?
Hope you can help?
I'm all Googled out on this one

Had a similar experience, make sure the clip is fitted the correct way as that fixing is ridiculous and fiddly. Check to make sure the plastic gear is fitted in the gearbox anorl.

Its how I get this drive out that I can't find any info on? How do I remove that little worm gear and check the drive at the gear box?

remove cable jack up one rear wheel hand brake off if wheel or hand brake drum is spun you should see the drive turning, if it doesnt or is split you prise the cast iron housing out of the out put housing with 2 scew drivers etc, if its seized in you unbolt output housing and lever it out from the inside

James you have totally sorted it. Many thanks indeed.
