:hijacked: similar question i got chance of a 3.6 6cyl vm turbo diesel lump (as my 200 is about dead:( ) with a range 4 speed slushbox i would prefer manual so will the lt77 on my disco fit the same as the slushbox bell housing? also does the torque converter mount onto same holes as the clutch cover plate would?

4 speeds are bullet proof only fitted to early V8's,
Lt77's were fitted to various 4cyl From the early 90's through to 200tdis disco and defenders aswell as V8's but different input shaft length and bellhousings obviously.

does it have a transferbox al in one? if so its the early box. I think it has a vacume operated difflock? Its deffo not a series box you have mistaken for a V8 one?
