LT230 Intermediate shaft oil seal.

Hi folks.

Tranny box is n the rag.

Its leakng ut of the intermediate shaft oil seal. I know this is a simple O ring, and from what i can see this s secured with one nut from the rear.

Question is can i change the ring without taking the whole box to bits just by undoing the nut, tapping it through enouh to chang th seal and then tighten back up.

Even better, can this be done without taking the tranny box off the gearbox
