Hi All. I just bought a 300tdi but was just wondering would there be any benefit in fitting a rear LSD from Ashcroft???? It may well be overkill as i am just doing a +2" lift and going to be running 235/85 tyres. I just dont want to be left behind in the forests by the Defenders in the group so anything is better than having to get "the rescue ranger" to winch me out. Thanks all.

I will get my tin hat and wait for the shelling to start:behindsofa:

Channel power to whichever wheel on the axle has traction, rather than losing it all if one breaks free.

Had a megane 250 cup with LSD at the front, very useful in that car. This is a completely different example but if you've got money to burn why not go for it :)

300tdistu has a lsd fitted in the front of his 90 with a ashcrofts air locker in the rear. talk to him think his lsd is a ditroit one.

Before spending any money go out with your mates and see if you need more traction. Bear in mind that the Defender is almost identical to Discovery underneath, so they won't be any better traction-wise than your Disco.
