Ok I'm picking up my p38 tomorrow morning and the lpg has been disconnected for some unknown reason by the previous to last owner so I was told. Now the excitement of getting on first name terms with every petrol station worker around here would be great a little lpg would go a long way. It can't be that much to get it sorted I hope but don't have a clue where to go Google is fine but personal recommendation would be better.

Cheers in advance

personally id just connect it and see whats what.

Whats the worst that could happen

Personally I wouldnt bother with the MPG and concentrate your efforts into getting the petrol system as efficient as possible.

All depends on your system of course but if its an older single point injection its not worth the hassle.

JMO :)

whats the worse that could happen I see the paper now twit blows up street by turning on car lol

I know there are a few plugs disconnected so will have to sort that out first but there is no certificate of safety so would want to get someone in the know to run there hands over it anyway. I remember dragging my mate away from a disco on lpg that was leaking as soon as you turned switched over he was very taken with it but the thought of a big bang any min wasn't good

I don't know about Ayrshire but there is Clyde motor engineers ( auto gas ecosse) in hillington who have been doing lpg for best part of 16+ years and Jim who owns the place is a good lad.

Neil don't want to sound ungreatful but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone got an older fella and he was rather rude and couldn't be bothered. I will be trying else where it may be an older system but it can't be hard to upgrade or repair

I am shocked at that. Every time I have been in they have been more that helpful. I used to use them for all the service work on the company vans.

Just seen a boy in kilbirnie who was more than helpful, ok I'm now sourcing a wiring fault before he will look at getting it running. He was quoting £25/hour and one job taking over 40 hours I thought it's not needed but handy to have so I'm doing some of the work myself to keep costs down now off to try and source a wiring diagram.
