Just thought i'd put an update about some new plugs i purchased that are specifically for LPG cars. After trawling through the web i decided to take a plunge and purchased these plugs from www.wtvuk.com. (this isn't an advert)
I firstly e-mailed them and got very good communication back from a guy called Keith as the site explains you need to have your LPG re-calibrated.
Well this morning i had this done and even the guys at the LPG place say they noticed a different in setting the mappings up.
So only time will tell with the MPG but i was just very happy with the service i got.

Has anyone got any horro stories to tell me if they have tried these plugs before??

Cheers
Phil

Ok a further update, the car is so much more responsive whislt on gas. No difference on LPG with MPG but i can honestly say a better driving experience that the iridium ngk ones that where in before.

Hopefully some useful information.

Cheers

not convinced...though over iridium or platinum i would agree, but over copper??temp co of silver and copper vertually same as is electrical conductivity..

i use copper...they are fine..espically in FI application as i have..if they can fire lpg under boost then they will be fine on any N/A engine..i use ngk.

Hi Zen,

Thanks for the feedback, i've never run it on copper as i've only owned the car since early december. Have to say the LPG guys did say they could trim to nearly the same fuel levels as petrol with them in which they said was rare. Maybe just blowing smoke up my ass ....lol.

odds on your old plugs were ****ed,your lpg sytem needed tuning up, so now it goes like stink compared to before...i recon any good plugs would have done...but hey what does it matter???aslong as your motor is going good then all is fine..

I had A Morris Marina van 25 years ago, LPG only, ran on standard plugs no problem. My V8 LPG Disco 2 which I run now runs great on standard Bosch plugs. Local LPG fitter near me (25yrs+ experience) says just use standard plugs. It maybe as already stated above that it just needed a new set of plugs.
