Hi all,
Had a look on threads and here's what I've done and think is the problem:

So low clutch bite after a long 300 mile trip in 24 hours.

Top reservoir was empty.

Bled the system with my dad pumping the pedal at the right time. Bled through to new fluid. Looked like the air was out and still the clutch has a low biting point.

Got it filled up to the max now, will see what leaks.

Still got the low biting point, anyone think what I need to replace?

Had no leaks in the drivers footwell.

low clutch bite is more often a worn/leaking (hence fluid loss in the first place) slave cylinder ,the leak on your master may be as a result of extended pedal movement during the bleed process , i would recommend fitting a pair

I changed the master today. It was totally shot. Bled the system and the biting point is still low, better than before but not normal.

Makes sense that the slave is worn too. Will change it on Monday I think. Will have a drive on the weekend.

Many thanks for your help guys!

Also the gasket on the clutch housing was completely gone. So I improvised and cut an old bike inner tube in it.
