Loud clicking from 6913 PRC glow plug relay no start

Hi all -
Turning the car onto ignition - glow plug light turns on and then 6913 PRC clicks like a a machine gun.
Have replaced the battery and has made no difference.
Any ideas on how to get it started?

Why replace the battery when this is most likely a faulty glow plug relay or a simple wiring fault? Try by-passing the relay, turn on ignition 10secs :. constant 12v to the glow plugs and then turn on the engine. The engine will fire up straight away.

Hi - thanks for the reply, it won’t even crank over at all. Most likely a starter motor I’m thinking? Have tried taking the relay out and the starter doesn’t turn at all
